On Saturday, June 7, members of District 11 were requalified on their Petzel EXO Personal Safety System. It is a personal bail out system in case the firefighter must exit a building via the window. It allows the firefighter to repel down the side of the building to escape. The training was done by Fire Ground Technologies. They used their state of the art mobile training trailer and it was done right at the firehouse.
