On Wednesday evening Iselin District #11 responded to a request for mutual aid in District #9 as they faced heavy fire on multiple levels of an eight story office complex. The hard work of all emergency responders involved resulted in the flames being contained to the areas they had occupied upon the arrival of firefighters. Snow, ice and frigid temperatures created extra hazards for responding personnel to battle. One minor injury was reported and investigators are working to determine a cause of the blaze.
