At 1743 Hrs, we were dispatched to a reported vehicle fire on Route 27 at the entrance to the Garden State Parkway. Upon arrival, the Chief reported a fully involved van on fire and instructed the first due Engine to pull the 1 3/4" handline off the front of Engine 1. The crew knocked the fire down within five minutes. All occupants were out of the vehicle upon our arrival.
