At 14:57 hrs. Districts 11 and 9 were dispatched to 511 Colonia Blvd. for a reported structure fire. District 12 had the first arriving units and reported a working fire in a one story residence. Iselin Engine 11-2 and Truck 9-2-4 arrived and advanced a hoseline to the attic and a backup line to the first floor. Avenel Truck 5-2-5 vented the roof.
Quick response and an aggressive interior attack helped contain this fire to an attic storage area.
