By Firefighter Joseph Snihur III
February 21, 2008

Woodbridge Township Mayor John E. McCormac and First Ward Councilman Charles Kenny announced a new program to encourage the recycling of used smoke detectors. All Township Fire Departments will act as "drop-off and recycle" locations. The initiative serves to remove smoke detectors from the landfills, protecting the environment.

Please take the time to dispose of your used smoke detectors to your local Woodbridge Township Fire Department during the month of March.
