Tonight, the new 11-3 made an appearance at headquarters for an inspection by the members. It is a 2015 Pierce Arrow XT 6 man cab. It has a 750 gallon tank with a 1500 gallon per minute PUC single stage pump. It also has a 15 KW generator, Nightscan light tower and a remote control deck gun. All this is powered by a 500 horsepower Detroit Turbo Diesel. It was sold by Fire and Safety Services of South Plainfield. After the inspection, it was back to Fire and Safety for final detailing inside and out. Delivery should be Monday or Tuesday.
