| Our Department attended a 9/11 Memorial Service held by Woodbridge Township and the Woodbridge Interfaith Clergy Council. This Service was attended by Mayor McCormic, members of the Woodbridge Town Council, Senator Vitale, members of the Woodbridge Interfaith Clergy Council, and Township residents. The Interfaith Service was held to commemorate the sixth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and United Flight 93. In 2002, the Township 9/11 Memorial Committee constructed a permanent Memorial in front of Town Hall to honor the nine Woodbridge Township resident that tragically lost their lives in these terror attacks.
The Memorial Service was a fitting tribute to the brave men and women that lost their lives on that tragic day. |
