At 10:47 on August 4th, District 11 was dispatched to a reported motor vehicle accident on the Garden State Parkway Southbound at milepost 132.7. Upon arrival, they had a one car motor vehicle accident. The vehicle hit the shoulder guardrail and a concrete pad with bollards behind a sign support. Chief Malheiro arrived on the scene and checked the occupant of the vehicle for any injuries. Rescue 11 arrived on scene and the Firefighters along with the State Police and EMS removed
the driver from the vehicle. EMS transported the driver to the Hospital.
