At 22:45 Hrs, the Iselin Fire Department, District #11 was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire on the Garden State Parkway 132.8 Northbound. Upon arrival, Chief Malheiro reported a fully involved pickup truck fire and instructed the first due Engine, 11-3 to pull the 1-3/4" hose-line off the front bumper of the Engine to attack the fire. The crew extinguished the fire with the assistance of the crew from Ladder 11. The occupant was out of the vehicle upon our arrival and was assessed by EMS. The apparatus remained on scene until the State Police and tow truck arrived.
