At 21:05 on January 19th, District 11 was dispatched to a reported motor vehicle accident on the Garden State Parkway Southbound at milepost 132.0. Upon arrival, they had a one car motor vehicle accident. The vehicle hit the shoulder guardrail and spun partially into the right lane. Chief Malheiro was first on the scene and block the right lane to protect the vehicle from the parkway traffic and checked the occupants of the vehicle for any injuries. Rescue 11 arrived on scene and the firefighters secured the vehicle and provided addition blocking for the scene and waited for the vehicle to be towed. EMS arrived and the vehicle occupants refused medical attention.
