On Sunday August 14th the Iselin Chemical Hook and Ladder Volunteer Fire Company participated in the 18th Annual Indian Day Parade. The parade started in Edison on Oak Tree Road and ended at Middlesex Avenue in Iselin. Lieutenant Fatima Manzoor drove Engine 11-3 in the parade accompanied by firefighter Vidhi Trivedi. There were bands, floats, dance troupes, and dignitaries to mark the 75th year of India’s Independence. There were an estimated 4,000 spectators watching the parade with cultural shows after the parade.
