On Saturday, August 20, 2016, the final America's 9/11 Motorcycle Run made it's way from Shanksville, PA to The Pentagon in Washington D.C. then to Ground Zero in N.Y.C.. This ride has had a great run of 15 years. This is the last one due to rising costs and the push back from towns about closing roads and the cost of overtime. This year there were about 2000 bikes being driven by men and women, young and old.
Here are some pictures taken from atop our ladder truck over Rt 1 in Iselin. Even the dark clouds held their rain so the ride could go on. 343. Never Forget. Always Remember.
