Today we witnessed the 14th annual 9/11 Motorcycle run sponsored by "America's 9/11 Foundation". Every year since 9/11/01, a large group of motorcycle riders and their passengers from all over, meet in PA for the start of a 3 day journey that remembers the victims of that tragic day. It starts with a trip to Somerset, PA to visit the field where one of the planes went down. From there it's off to the Pentagon in Washington D.C. to remember those victims. The final leg takes them to New York to Ground Zero. Along the way the highways and bridges are lined with emergency service agencys cheering them on and waving American flags. We had our usual spot on Rt 1 in Iselin. Sadly it was announced at the stop in Linden that next years run will be the last.
