When every second counts and lives are on the line, firefighters need every tool possible to increase their operation speed and enhance their situational awareness. For years, thermal imaging has been a vital firefighting technology, however mass-adoption has been cost-prohibitive.

The Reveal FirePRO, Seek’s high-resolution Personal Thermal Imaging Camera (TIC) is cost effective and allowed the Iselin Volunteer Fire Department, District No. 11 to equip every firefighter with their own personal TIC.

The TIC assists firefighters with search and rescue being able to navigate through smoke and help with locating the seat of the fire. The TIC provides temperature readings and has a camera to document the fire. There is also a flashlight that can cut through smoke.
