On Tuesday, Dec 15, 2015, Engine 11-3, a 1996 Pierce Lance, was sold and turned over to it's new owners. They are the members of the Mountain-Thingvalla Vol. Fire Dept. in Mountain, North Dakota. Members Keith and Erik arrived at Newark Airport and were met by Dist 11 members Capt Mike Einhorn and Firefighter Mark Farese. After a tour of our buildings and apparatus, Engine 11-3 was turned over to Erik and Keith. Some spare gear and equipment was also given to them. They said that the whole town was eagerly awaiting their return. We wish them well with their "new" rig. May she protect your town as well as she protected ours. Have a safe trip home brothers.
